Artisan coffee makers Noxy Brothers return to the Arcade; Laduree launches champagne patisserie and macaron offerings

Burlington Arcade is pleased to announce the return of Noxy Brothers, who previously had operated a coffee cart in the Arcade, and are now permanent tenants as of this month. Noxy focuses on helping the consumer revel in the pause of their hectic day through their well trained, incredibly friendly baristas who make delicious drinks using Noxy’s artisanal products. From their own bespoke blend, to a revolving “house guest” single origin coffee (make sure to ask the Barista what it is this month) Noxy Brothers also offer all their drinks over ice. They’ve added to their delicious pastries and now have melting toasties and of course their famous home-made banana bread.

After discovering that many large coffee chains in hospitals had shuttered due to COVID-19, leaving doctors and nurses with no caffeine fuel, the two best friends, who run the Noxy Brothers in Burlington Arcade, set up a coffee bar in NHS Northwick Park for 6 weeks to provide complimentary speciality, barista made coffee to all 3,000 NHS staff every day. Noxy Brothers has been instrumental in raising valuable funds for the NHS during the unprecedented pandemic and has raised £50,000 in total to date for our healthcare keyworkers.

Noxy Brothers has enthusiastically continued growing its brand during this challenging time for the hospitality sector, by moving into much loved retail locations, such as Burlington Arcade, to provide artisan coffee for those in London looking for a refreshing caffeine fix this summer.

For those looking for an extra sweet treat, Laduree, the French luxury bakery and cafe famous for its macarons, has launched an ice-cream cart at the Piccadilly entrance to the Arcade, offering its pastel-coloured artisanal sorbets and ice creams. Decked out in the brand’s signature green hue with gold detailing, the ice cream cart offers a selection of flavours from Pistachio to Rose to Apple, Spirulina, and Mint.

For those looking to celebrate the end of lockdown, Laduree has also launched a special champagne patisserie or macaron pairing in partnership with Moet Chandon champagne. Available on the menu are offerings such as Mini Moet with a Patisserie or 3 macarons of your choice, as well as Cream Tea for one or two, with or without Moet champagne. These can be safely enjoyed on their outdoor terrace with plenty of space for social distancing, to or to take away in nearby Green Park.
